Artist’s Statement
I love mystery, color and the frame of mind which occurs at the boundary line between all that is known and all that is yet to be known.
The blank canvas allows me a great arena and facility in rearranging what I do know into new configurations of reality.
Images (in silence) emerge, and an inner dialogue parallels the creative process.
Whether my images are abstract, realistic or narrative, I find to be present in the moment, cooperating with the media, to be a spiritual dimension i.e. art as meditation. It provides an inner rhythm and brings a positive dimension and stability to my life. It is how I non-verbally express myself.
